I am also looking for an answer about furniture and insurance.. My Elderly parents and myself have purchased furniture. My Mom had an appointment to have some of hers to be repaired and was not even told of the closing of Rhodes...What do we do now? Like others I have purchased before and feel we deserve a response Thank-you, jsircy

CAN YOU ADVISE WHEN THE STORE IN RALEIGH WILL BE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS

I am Having a hard time trying to pull up my Rhodes Acct to pay my bill.

I am writing out of Georgia. I recently purchased over $10,000.00 worth of furniture from Rhodes. I purchased insurance to cover all. I am in the processing of building a house, which should be completed by the beginning of November, therefore, my furniture is stored in it's original boxes. I was wondering what will happen to my insurance.

I was also told and had the manager of the store to document and sign in my contract that Rhodes furniture would deliver, set-up, and treat my items as covered under warranty.

What happens now?

Has anyone received a response to your questions or concerns from this site?

I contacted Rhodes Furniture in Georgia, they gave me a toll free number to call concerning my extended warranties and customer care packages.

I will return and give an update of any progress.

I'm still waiting for my 400.00 i gave you towards my couch i never recieved. I'm sitting with no couch and a credit card that i have to pay for a couch i never recieved. I expect to hear from you soon.

Please help - I've tried numerous times to get in touch with someone about fixing a couch we purchased only two years ago from the Macon GA store. It is broke, I can't fix it and I was given a 1-800- number to call to no avail. I sent copies of my paperwork, etc and it's been a few months - I have a couch that looks good but I can't use it. I've purchased numerous and numerous of pieces of furniture from Rhodes and now I'm stuck...what can you offer to get this fixed, sure would be nice to use it for the upcoming holidays

I posted to this website on 8/29/2005 and have never received a response to my concern.

Well, now I have moved into my home. While setting up my master bedroom set I realized that I was missing the footboard. I checked my receipt and noticed that the footboard was never ordered, although I paid nearly $500 for that one piece.

I have called every Rhodes Furniture that was still open and was told that there was nothing else they could do because the liquidators (Rooms to Go) have taken over. I was given a number to Assurant Corporation.

After speaking with that company, I was told that there was nothing they could do because it was not a financial matter and to call The BMC Group.

After speaking with someone with that company I was told that the matter would be a small claim not worth filing and to speak with the liquidators.

After speaking with someone at RTG I was told that there was nothing they could do because they don't have access to my files and to call Rhodes Corporate Office.

After speaking with that office, I was told that nothing could be done because there is no furniture left and to speak with RTG Customer Service.

After speaking with RTG Customer Service, I was told that nothing could be done and to speak with RTG distribution Center of Atlanta, GA.

At this point, I am willing to spend the extra money to purchase another footboard, but RTG's Manager informed me that he could only sell me a frame to raise the bed and not the footboard. The RTG Distribution Center stated that they have no adult furniture left.

No one was able to give me information of the outlets that Rhodes Furniture used to purchase their furniture.

All I need is a Footboard to a king sized Old World Elegance furniture set. Right now, my husband and I are sleeping on the floor.

Any help, comments would be greatly appreciated.

I had also purchase furniture from Rhodes Furniture in Champaign, IL and was told at the last minute that Rhodes was going out of business when I was fussing about an loveseat I was waiting to get repaired. Anyway, Rhodes refunded me my warranty and insurance money, but it went towards my account instead of coming directly to me, so please do not look for any money to come to you directly. I hope this help!

I purchased several thousand dollars of furniture from Rhodes a few months ago. I purchased a warranty agreement and the sofa is in need of repair. There is no response from the number I was given to call.

BOUGHT TWO LOVE SEATS TWO RECLINERS. I SEE PATVHES OF MISSING FABRIC ON BOTH RECLINERS. I HAVE OWNED FOR 1 YEAR. NOW WHAT??

MY HUSBAND AND I BOUGHT AN ENTIRE LEATHER LIVING ROOM SET AND GRANIT KITCHEN TABLE AND BUTCHER BLOCK WITH ALL OF THE EXTRAS LIKE LEATHER CARE KIT GRANIT CARE KIT AND WARRANTIES WHEN RHODES WAS STILL OPEN WE NOTICE A RIP IN THE SEAM OF THE LEATHER SOFA SOMEONE CAME OUT SAID IT NEEDED TO BE FIXED WE THEN RECIEVED LETTER FROM RHODES SAYING THAT IT COULD TAKE UP TO 6 WKS BEFORE WE RECIEVE THE LEATHER TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE BACK REST PART ON THE SOFA... WE NEVER RECIEVED ANYTHING NOT EVEN A NOTE TELLING US THAT RHODES WAS CLOSED AND THAT THEY WOULDNT BE FIXING ANYHTING... NOTHING.. WAITING... CALLING ALL OF THE MANY #'S THAT WE WERE GIVEN COMPAINES PAWNING US OFF TO ANOTHER NO ONE WANTS TO HELP!!! NO ONE WILL FIX MY SOFA WHICH HAS NOW GOTTEN WORSE!!! NO ONE WANTS TO SEND ME CLEANING SUPP. I purchased the Dakota dinette set during the liquidation sale in Atlanta, store #4570. I picked up my furniture on 11/14/05 new all boxed up nd complete or at least I thought. I became and had surgery in December and did not open the furniture until July as I am just recovering. Lo and behold there are no legs with the table and of course there is no one to help me. I found this web site by accident, but I hope I can get a solution to my problem. I've called every 1-888 number that I've been given all to no avail. It is an absolute shame of how I have been given number after number and even when someone does answer they do not know how to help me, they are really unconcerned as if it is my fault. I have price legs similar to the ones that were suppose to be with the set that I have, but the price is almost as much as the whole set. Please at least give me a courtesy call or e-mail. I did not have an extended warranty, but I didn't expect for all the parts not to be in the package. I really need a resolution, ther isn't much I can do with a table without legs. I had been a very loyal Rhodes customer and was never this dissatisfied.

I AM SO FRUSTRATED WITH RHODES/HSBC!!!! THEY KEEP ADDING INTETREST ON TOP OF INTEREST AND I PAY MY BILL MONTHLY BUT IT ALWAYS SEEMS TO CHANGE!!!! I NOW GET DAILY CALLS (FROM SOMEONE I CAN'T EVEN UNDERSTAND)YET I CAN'T SPEAK TO A PERSON WHO KNOWS ANYTHING OR EVEN CARES. i GET A THREATENING LETTER IN THE MAIL DATED JAN 18TH 2007 SAYING I HAVE 7 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THE LETTER TO PAY A CERTAIN AMOUNT OR THEY WILL SEND MY ACCT TO ALL 3 CREDIT AGENCIES!!! THING IS I RECEIVED THE LETTER AFTER THE 7 DAYS (JAN 30TH). I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER WITH RHODES FOR YEARS YET THEY GO BANKRUPT AND THE CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED LIKE CRIMINALS!!!! Could please tell me where I can get a copy of my purchase of a king size mattress set? It has a ten year warranty and I do not have my receipt.

My mother and father bought furniture from Rhodes Furniture. It needs repairs also. I have gotten online to see if I can find numbers for them because the numbers that were given to them doesn't work. You get a recording and it tells you to leave your name and phone number and someone will call you back. She has yet to be called back. That has been about a month ago now. I am still trying to find a number for her.

it has been more than a year since i posted my comment about purchasing and opening a presumably new dinette set and there weren't any legs fo the the table. Well I still have not received a reply or notification that anyone is even looking at this site. I t appears to be a bogus site to vent about the shabby treatment Rhodes Furniture former customers have received since the company went out of business. HAS ANYONE ON THIS SITE RECEIVED A RESPONSE?

I WAS TOLD WHEN I PURCHASE MY 2 SOFAS, WITH WARRANTIES, THAT IT WOULD BE FOR A LIFETIME. NOW I HAVE TWO SOFAS I PAID DEARLY FOR THAT ARE COMING UNSOWN, THE LEATER IS PULLING APART FORM THE SEAM, AND NO ONE TO FIX IT. NOW I THINK WE LIVE IN A COUNTRY WHERE IF THESES ITEMS WERE NOT PAID FOR WHEN THEY SOLD OUT, THEN WE WOULD STILL HAVE HAD TO PAY, SO WHY NOT MAKE ALLOWANCES TO THE MAINTENANCE OF THESE PRODUCTS. IF ANYONE HAS A SUGGESTION OR A PHONE NUMBER IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I bought a bed from Rhodes about 3 years ago and the frames for the bed have broken. This was a Georgetown King size bed. Where or how can I replace the bed frames?
